Best Western Plus Serene Atlantic Hotel, Sekondi-Takoradi

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and offer a beautiful view of the pools and the Atlantic Ocean in the horizon. However, there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The service was superb with staff who are always smiling, helpful, and quick to respond to guests, but there was an issue when we had to excuse ourselves from guests to attend a meeting without any food. The location is amazing, with breathtaking views to wake up to, although some bathroom items need updating. The dining experience, while fair with a nice variety, could use an improvement in the breakfast buffet options, especially if you want to benefit from fresh fruits. The facilities were good overall.

The hotel provides a fantastic spa area, and the rooms were clean and neat despite the late readiness for check-in at 6 pm instead of 2 pm. Service was friendly and proactive, anticipating my needs before I even expressed them. The location offers a beautiful view to wake up to, but the presence of radios by the pool can be a bit bothersome. The dining experience had good variety but was crowded. Overall, a comfortable stay with attentive service.

My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable. The rooms were clean and newly renovated, the reception was responsive, and the breakfast selection was one of the most diverse I've seen in Ghana. However, there was a slight issue with a damp smell due to blocked drains in the shower.
